Announcements from Central Committee of Consumer Protection
- Region or State Consumer Dispute Settlement Bodies were obligated and assigned under Notification No.1/2014 3 Oct 2014 of the Central Committee under Section (16) in Consumer Protection Law. The following committee were obligated and assigned under the Central Committee
(a)Consumer Complaint Committee
(b)Product Safety Committee
- District Consumer Dispute Settlement Bodies were, in order to spread out the function of wide consumer protection from the grassroots level under Section (16), obligated and assigned under Notification No.1/2016 23 June 2016 of the Central Committee.
- Myanmar Inspection and Testing Services Ltd (MITS), a free Third Organization to examine whether or not in conformity standardization related to goods or services under Section (29) in Consumer Protection Law, was issued as an Organization which was designated under Notification No.1/2017 5 May 2017 of the Central Committee.
- The Consumer Dispute Settlement Bodies in Naypyitaw, Union Territory, under Section (16) were, under Notification No.2/2017 15 May 2017 of the Central Committee, obligated and assigned.
